On our way

We technically begin our journey today. We drive to Chicago this afternoon/evening. We have to be at O'Hare at 3:30am Wednesday to catch our 5:30am flight to Houston and then on to Tegucigalpa. We arrive in Teguc around 11am Wednesday.

We will stop by Pricesmart in Teguc (like a Sam's Club) and buy food supplies and then head straight to Talanga. I believe we will be riding out there in a pickup truck. We will buy makings for Grilled Cheese sandwiches because the Manuelito kids really liked those last year.....they called them sandwich Americano, I think. We will also buy other food supplies for Manuelito...maybe some treats for the kids.

We will be in Talanga Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat nights and return to Teguc Sunday after church. Apparently we will be working on some aquaponics projects, etc.

We are all very excited to get to Talanga and see the kids again. There are 4 new kids there now and 2 kids from last year have moved on. Ellen and I are hoping that our stress levels go down once we arrive in Talanga. Work has been very hectic and we are looking forward to a little down time.

We are not sure exactly where we are sleeping the first night in Talanga because (apparently) most of the beds are full with a large American work team. No big deal....we can sleep wherever.

After Talanga we will be in Teguc and then Roatan.

We will try to update this Blog as we can.

Thanks for keeping us in your prayers.
