Hello again! Saturday afternoon and it is VERY hot and windy in Talanga today. The kids are having a huge water fight to take the heat away! They get water from the Pila in ant pot or pan they can find and throw it everywhere. The are having fun. There are probably 25 kids running around!
We are all fine. A few minor issues but for the most part we are all healthy and happy. Slight change of plans....tomorrow we will go to Escuela El Sembrador early in the morning to see some kids who used to be here in Talanga (Juan, David, y Antonio). That´s about a 2+ hr ride in a pickup. We´ll have lunch there and then head to Teguc where we will spend the night. We will also serve dinner to the kids there at the Transition House. SHould be fun.
Monday we will be at the hospital visiting pediatric cardiac patients and their families. Looking forward to that too.
Tuesday we should be on Roatan by noon time. We fly out of Teguc to San Pedro Sula to La Ceiba to Roatan....all on little planes. Oh well.....better than a day on the bus and another ferry ride I guess.
Today the cook is not on duty so we are preparing all meals. Tonight is a favorite from last year....Grilled Cheese.

Thanks for the blog updates...sounds like everything is going well. I'm sure that everyone was excited to see you all again! Enjoy the sunshine...we had a snowstorm last night with 4 inches of snow....yuck. Be safe!
